Jennifer began her career in real estate in 1992 when she started as a receptionist for their real estate office. When she was transferred to the company’s in-house escrow to be a receptionist/processor, she found she had a passion for escrow and quickly worked her way up in the company starting as an assistant, then escrow officer and eventually managing the entire division. When the market crashed in 2008, Jen went to a well-known local real estate company where she was the executive assistant to the owner of the company. While there, she managed the overall dealings of 10 branch offices. With her combined management and hands on escrow experience, Jennifer made the move to Wonderland Escrow, where she handles many high profile clients and manages the day-to-day operations of the company. Her unyielding customer service, dedication to her clients and contractual precision have earned Jennifer many accolades as she continues to serve her clients.

Alexis Colato brings over 3 ½ years of dedicated experience to Wonderland Escrow Santa Clarita as an adept escrow assistant. With meticulous attention to detail, she expertly manages the intricate processes involved in escrow transactions. From meticulously inputting vital information into files to coordinating loan signings and ensuring all necessary documents are in order for closing, Alexis plays a pivotal role in the seamless functioning of the escrow process. Jennifer started her longstanding escrow career in Orange County with a large national real estate brokerage. In 2004 Jennifer made a move to Las Vegas where she was the Branch Manager for Lawyer’s Title in Henderson, NV for 5 years during the boom of the real estate market. Upon the down turn in the market, Jennifer headed back to California and took a position as Opening Dept. Supervisor back in Orange County where she created and implemented a seamless operating for handling 30+ daily escrow openings. After a year with the company she relocated to West Hollywood and where her skillset continued to grow as she oversaw a Fannie Mae REO desk and worked closely with banks. Today, Jennifer is proud to serve Wonderland Escrow and its high-profile clients.

PALM SPRINGS OFFICE

Ana Sanchez started in the Title Industry in the 2001 as a Title Assistant, After a few year, she transferred within the company to the Escrow division as an Escrow Assistant and was quickly promoted to an Escrow Officer because of her work ethic and attention to detail. Working in the industry between 2005-2008 gave Ana valuable experience in both sales and refinances. When the market turned in 2008 , Ana began working closely with banks, handling approximately 100-200 refinances and 50-60 sales a month to a foreclosure market. In 2015, Ana accepted a transfer to Lawyers Title to work in their Fannie Mae division which gave her the opportunity to learn various state rules and regulations and increase her knowledge of how escrow works in states beyond California. In 2022, Ana accepted a position with Wonderland Escrow and is looking forward to assisting her clients in sales, refinances, mobile homes and lease land.

Shannon R. Gutierrez’s career in the escrow industry began in the Santa Clarita Valley, where she quickly evolved from a receptionist to an Escrow Officer and then to an Escrow Manager. Currently leading as the Escrow Manager at Wonderland Escrow Santa Clarita, Shannon utilizes her extensive experience in residential, refinances, REOs, and short sales to ensure client transactions are seamless. Renowned for her empathetic approach and meticulous attention to detail, Shannon excels in guiding clients through the escrow process, making every transaction as smooth as possible. Outside of work, Shannon values her family time, which provides her with balance and fulfillment.

Anita Sarkissian

Anita is a knowledgeable escrow assistant who’s worked in the industry since 2017. Recognizing the wonderful opportunity to work among an extremely talented and knowledgeable team, Anita took the initiative to engulf herself in the business and soak in as much information as possible. She quickly sharpened her expertise by working with a high-volume, fast-paced escrow officer, where she’s been instrumental in the closing upwards of 30 files per month. This experience, coupled with her friendly and helpful personality has proven a perfect fit working in the field of Escrow. Anita is excited to have joined Wonderland Escrow and continues to part of the company and her clients’ success.

Maria Alcala

Senior Escrow Assistant

Maria began her escrow career as a receptionist in the San Fernando Valley, where she quickly made the transition within the company to its escrow division. In 2007 Maria became the Fannie Mae REO Escrow Officer for another company through the tumultuous market crash in 2008. As the industry went through changes in the market Maria met Jennifer Wheaton and felt a strong connection and desire to work together and assist her desk operations. Together, they successfully ran a Fannie Mae REO desk, closing up to 40 files per month. Maria and Escrow Officer Jennifer Wheaton bring a proven track record of providing outstanding customer service.

SHELDON CAMPBELL

JUNIOR Escrow Assistant

Sheldon is currently a Junior Escrow Assistant with Wonderland Escrow. Sheldon will work closely with his escrow officers in the preparing, signing and notarizing of escrow documents making sure that their clients have the best experience possible with their transaction in the buying or selling of their home. Prior to his joining Wonderland Escrow, Sheldon managed a fast paced Real Estate office working closely with over 200 agents, leadership and vendors ensuring its success in making the Market Center #1 in the Coachella Valley. Before working in Real Estate, Sheldon worked as an outside sales agent for various companies for 25+ years. Sheldon attended Oklahoma State University where he studied Applied Science and is fluent in American Sign Language. Sheldon enjoys snow skiing, rollerblading, traveling and spreading quality time with his family and friends. Sheldon also enjoys softball, he has played and been a member of the North American Gay Amature Athletic Alliance (NAGAAA) since 2006.

Megan Bernard is the newest addition to the Wonderland Escrow team and has 14 years of applicable real estate experience as a staff member at a top real estate office in the San Fernando Valley prior to making the transition to work in escrow. Working directly with Jennifer Wheaton, Megan prides herself in her hard work ethic, leadership skills, dedication, unyieldingly positive attitude and customer service first mindset which she brings to work each day to ensure that you’re in great hands during the escrow process.

Vanessa Garcia started in escrow in 2018 as a receptionist for Lawyers Title and within a year she transitioned to being an escrow assistant.  Having previously worked in customer service, Vanessa takes pride in providing high-quality service and developing customer relationships with great attention to detail, a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.

Begonia Saubel

Senior Escrow Assistant

Begonia Saubel started her career in escrow in 2014 in Palm Springs, after working in the Residential Leasing department of the Bureau of Indian Affairs. She is well versed in Tribal Trust Land. She has worked with both refinances and sales to bring customers to a successful and prompt closing. She is well rounded and willing to help in all aspects of escrow and title, which included her most recent position working directly with the title department utilizing the e-recording system to record documents directly with the different counties in California. She is focused on providing all customers a positive experience by maintaining a high level of interaction throughout the escrow process.
